Kicking Up Our Heels, Literally

Long time no post.
December has been rather busy. The children and I have been working on homemade Christmas tree ornaments. We have been doing a lot of shopping. Unfortunately, it has been all for us and not enough for everyone else. Terry and I have been doing a lot of grown up stuff, we even went on a whole little weekend date last weekend. My mother was down for a couple of days while Terry and I attended his work Christmas party, which was on a yacht in Biscayne Bay. It was very fun. They put us up in a room at the Hyatt also and there was an after party with drinks and cigars and Frank Sinatra music. That was fun also. Nothing like drinking coffee and liquor, smoking cigars and dancing a chorus line on the hotel steps to New York, New York with your husbands boss. Good times, good times! Then last night was his bosses Christmas party at his house, which was also a nice time. They are really great people. We are pretty lucky.
Terry has some more time off coming up during the week after Christmas and I am really itching to get in the car and drive. It is a shame we didn't plan something like that. Financially, I don't think it is going to happen. We did a lot of shopping this month.
The other night Terry took some random yet fairly interesting photos of me while messing around with his camera and lighting and stuff. I was playing makeup trying to create the smoky eye look and ended up with something...else. I get used to him doing this every so often.
