It has been a long time since I felt like putting anything here. I have been very busy trying to make sure I stick to my promises of a more active schedule with the kids. That means I have barely had time to think about anything except juggling one vehicle and where we need to be when and what I will need to take with us. Other than that, I have been dealing with some personal issues and that has pretty much taken over what is left of my mind.

However, we did some pretty interesting things this past weekend that I thought was worth talking about. If you ever get the chance to visit Key Largo, Florida check into the glass bottom boat tour of Molasses Reef. It is a part of the John Pennekamp state park and is well worth the seven mile trip out into the Atlantic. Especially if you have never seen anything like that before, which I had not. A little tip...as a general rule, you should turn your cell phone off during the portion of the trip when the tour guide is pointing out all of the different kinds of fish and coral and explaining things.

Logan is now participating in a group of homeschooled children who are building a set, props, and puppets for a play. When they are finished getting it all together, and learning the play, they will be performing regularly for children at the Dan Marino Children's Center. He not only is building some great friendships and interacting seemingly well in a very diverse group, he is also getting the opportunity to do some good within the community, so I am as excited about that as he is.
