All Dressed Up
It was finally a pretty day and we got to spend some much needed time outside this afternoon. Everyone enjoyed the sunshine and the kids got to fly their kites that my mom got them for Easter. I got to work on my tan.
The girls are wrapping up their current bookwork so we will need to go to the bookstores soon and get some new things for them to tackle. Logan is plugging along doing his thing. They are all hoping for a regular Summer vacation this year since we have never really had a set schedule for that sort of thing but after the year we have all had and being cooped up in this apartment all Winter I think that we will make good use of the passes their grandma got all of us for The Beach. It is a great gift and there is no way I could have gotten them something like that. We get to take guests on certain days so that will be nice. I know the kids are very excited about the prospect of all of that.
The girls got to bring home their dance recital costumes tonight after their classes and we spent a couple of hours trying them on and they were showing me their routines with them on. They are so cute! I can’t wait to watch them on stage. Dance has been very good for both of them. Hope is still very nervous about dancing in front of an audience and I hope she doesn’t panic on stage. However, she loves it and she wants to do it and I am very proud of her for her efforts and her trying to overcome the shyness. I wish I had done that at her age. I think Savannah is pretty comfortable with the idea. She has never been as shy as Hope and has a good time no matter what she is doing, that is just Savannah. I wish Logan had some sort of performance coming up because he is doing so well with guitar. I am very proud of him and he loves it so much.
